Clay County reorganizes, names officers and sets 2020 precincts and election pay

The board also set a county burial allowance at $1,900 and established mileage at $0.42 per mile.
County Auditor Carri Crum administered nominations and the board recorded unanimous votes on the officer selections. Vice Chair Packard praised the new chair during the proceedings, saying Mockler “does an excellent job of devoting additional time” to duties beyond the minimum.
