At the April 14 regular meeting the board approved a motion by Commissioner Doug Marottek to purchase a 200‑gallon skid sprayer for the Weed Department for $4,872, seconded by Commissioner Gordon Oelkers. The board also approved a motion by Commissioner Oelkers to purchase seventeen chairs for the library from Wills Office World for $5,586.
The board approved claims for April 9, 2026 in the amount of $267,303.94. Several annual pay raises and one promotional raise were approved across departments, including Road Department employees Jake Flynn and Gale Strandlund, Treasurer Office employees Ty Smith and Kaigen Roskelley, Aging Services employee Clarice Challstrom, Dispatch employee Staci Green, promotional raise for Detention Center employee Nathanial Clark to Shift Sergeant, and raises for Detention Center employee Dyson Russell and Library employees Heather Granbois and Mary Drake.
