Tax deed sale results: Skyline Real Estate and local buyers win multiple parcels

Skyline Real Estate won Item No. 3 after competitive bidding, prevailing at $350, and purchased Items No. 4, 9 and 10 for $200, $1,000 and $900 respectively. Curtis Forrest purchased Item No. 5 for $200. A motion by Commissioner Gordon Oelkers to offer all unsold items (Items 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 and 11) at negotiated prices, with the commissioners reserving the right to accept or reject any and all bids, was seconded by Commissioner Doug Marottek and passed.
Following the motion, several negotiated per‑lot sales were completed: Curtis Forrest and Chris Dschaak bid up lots, with one set of lots awarded at $555 per lot (minutes record the purchaser as "Curist Forest" which appears to be a typographical error for Curtis Forrest) and Item No. 11 sold to Chris Dschaak for $50. The sale was adjourned at 11:30 a.m.
