Russell County Sheriff Andrew Van Der Wege asked commissioners to declare three patrol vehicles as surplus property to be sold on Purple Wave and to transfer four unused laptops to county fire departments. The vehicles listed were a 2017 Ford Utility (VIN#6449), a 2022 Dodge Durango (VIN#3050), and a 2021 Dodge Durango (VIN#3478). Duke Strobel moved to declare the vehicles surplus and Dean Haselhorst seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Commissioners had no objection to transferring four laptops that are not being used to the county fire departments.
