"Motion by Rein, seconded by Miller," the minutes record; the motion passed 3-0. Commissioners also approved a purchase agreement with the Pawnee County Coop for Clear Diesel at $2.96 and Red Diesel at $2.70 for 2026, again by a 3-0 vote.
The items were presented together as routine Solid Waste operational needs. The approvals enable the department to fill the operator vacancy and secure fuel pricing for county vehicles and equipment for the year.
