Planned activities include lawn games, musical chairs, a scavenger/scavenger hunt with candy hidden in the library, and a best-costume contest. Library Director Chris Ostberg said she could include "1-2 Kindles" as prizes. Board members Glennda Teague and Vicki Thompson volunteered to help set up and judge.
The event is part of the board's broader effort to raise awareness of library services and encourage community engagement while funding options are explored.
