Deputy Election Clerk Lopez presented the county’s established election precincts for 2026 and the board approved the list during the Jan. 12 meeting. Commissioner Koyle moved to approve the precincts pursuant to I.C. 34-301; Commissioner Schaeffer seconded and the motion carried.
The approved polling locations and precinct assignments include Grace Church, 100 N. Meridian Rd., Rupert (Precincts 001 Acequia, 006 Pioneer, 011 Rupert 5); the Civic Center, 515 7th Street, Rupert (Precincts 007 Rupert 1, 008 Rupert 2, 009 Rupert 3, 010 Rupert 4); Burley Inn, 800 N. Overland, Burley (Precincts 002 Emerson, 003 Heyburn 1, 004 Heyburn 2); City Hall, 152 S. 600 W., Paul (Precinct 005 Paul City Hall); and Early Voting at Minidoka County Courthouse, 715 G Street, Rupert. The board acted on the motion at the request of Deputy Election Clerk Lopez, and approved the slate with a voiced second and a recorded motion carry.
The approval was recorded as complying with I.C. 34-301 for the 2026 election year. Clerk Page and deputy clerks will proceed with any additional administrative notices and postings required by state law.
