Clerk recommends Cofile for circuit court records preservation project; board approves

Morgan Booth, clerk of circuit court, presented two vendor estimates for digitizing and preserving four sets of mayor's licenses and recommended awarding the project to Cofile, noting the firm had provided consistent results for prior work.
Booth told the board that Cofile's proposal would preserve each license in its own sleeve while the lower bidder (HF Group) combined multiple licenses into sleeves, explaining that the price difference reflected page counts. "I recommend awarding the project to Cofile just because we've used them in previous years and the finished product will be consistent with the books that we currently have," Booth said. The board moved and approved the award by roll call.
