The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved resolutions recognizing National Police Week, Teacher Appreciation Week and National Public Works Week.
County Administrator Don Robertson introduced the resolutions and thanked staff and departments for their work; supervisors highlighted the importance of law enforcement, educators and public‑works employees who maintain county services and infrastructure. Motions were made and passed by voice and roll call as the board closed its agenda items for the night.
Supervisor Acree and others urged citizens to take pride in public‑works employees and noted that many county projects are eligible for state or federal grant funding and will return to the board for specific approvals when funding is available.
