Clay County certifies June 2 election returns, schedules post‑election audit and moves to lease poll pads

The county reported that the audit board’s manual counts matched the tabulator results in the selected contests.
Earlier in the year the Board authorized a three‑year lease with KnowInk for poll pads to replace paper poll books; Auditor Crum said the lease cost will be reimbursed by Help America Vote Act grant funds. The Board also set precinct official fees for 2026 at $225 per election and $250 for election superintendent per Resolution #2026‑02.
