"This is on for first read. The main change is essentially that it is a lot larger and more comprehensive than it was previously," said Miss Hahn, the presenter, who said the rewrite aims to be more user‑friendly for staff and families. She told the board the changes were a cleanup rather than a response to a statutory change and that the item will return at the next meeting for approval.
Board members had no questions at the time; staff indicated they would be available for follow-up and would return the item for action at a future meeting.
