The Travis County Commissioners Court recessed into executive session June 16 to discuss item 10 (budget amendments and a memo regarding available state property) under the real‑property and attorney consultation exceptions to the Texas Open Meetings Act, and item 23 (a hiring matter) under the personnel exception.
Judge Brown said on return from executive session the court discussed both items but would not take action on them at the meeting. "We discussed item 10. We're not taking any action on that today. And we discussed item 23. We're not taking action on that today," the judge said before adjourning the commissioners' voting session and convening the Travis County Housing Finance Corporation session.
