Residents raise website, landfill and clinic updates during public comment

"She also questioned why the landfill was left off of the Board’s Joint Workshop agenda the prior week," the minutes record. Thomas Schwarts introduced himself and his wife as practitioners opening a clinic at 1883 Anderson Hwy and said they intend to open by April 2026. Gina Martin updated the board on Animal Control and sought support for her non-profit interest meeting, and April Morris spoke on behalf of the Volunteer Cartersville Squad and invited attendance at upcoming events.
The comments were delivered during the public comment section; board members thanked attendees and noted follow-up steps such as posting documents to the website and addressing landfill concerns in future workshops.
