The proposed language would enable staff to require additional site-specific historic or environmental studies as needed to make a fully informed decision on rezonings and CUPs.
Commissioners noted the expense and asked whether maps showing sensitive areas could be shared; staff said they have a GIS layer available for review and that such assessments would be required only when warranted by potential site conditions.
