Court approves consent items, hears introduction of Michael Huff as Reserve Deputy Constable

The Guadalupe County Commissioner’s Court approved several consent items at its Aug. 20 meeting, including bill lists, the EBA list, the PCA bill list, an official bond and oath for Michael Huff as Reserve Deputy Constable in Precinct 4, and departmental revenue and monthly status reports for July 2024. The court pulled Item E (a maintenance bond for Wall Farm Subdivision on FM 3353 in Precinct 2) for additional discussion and took no action on that item, noting a final plat is expected Sept. 3.
The constable introduced Michael Huff and said he would be coming to serve if approved. Michael Huff, identified by the court and the constable, addressed the bench: "I would just like to thank you guys for giving me the opportunity to serve Precinct 4, and I look forward to working with you." The motion to approve the listed consent items (excluding Item E) carried with no opposition.
