Commissioner Robinson presented and the Board approved a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal of $512,251 from Parrish Construction Group, Inc. of Perry, Georgia, for modifications at the Houston County Superior Court. The Board authorized Chairman Perdue to sign necessary contract documents and stated the work will be funded using reserve funds.
Chairman Perdue said the Superior Court needs renovations and that contractors on site will complete limited flooring, painting and maintenance tasks; he cautioned that the project could grow through change orders.
