At the joint meeting on Jan. 14, staff proposed and both boards accepted organizing a subcommittee to translate the discussion about water and sewer expansion into concrete steps. James Houchins recommended a panel composed of three members from each board, the executive directors of the EDA and PSA, and the Town Manager to carry out and monitor the project.
The PSA voted to appoint three of its members to the joint subcommittee and will determine the actual member names at its next regularly scheduled meeting. The EDA will vote at its next meeting to decide which of its members will serve on the subcommittee. Follow-up tasks recorded include selecting appointees and proceeding with engineering design and funding outreach.
