Board reviews reappointment windows and postpones floodplain regulations discussion

At the start of the Jan. 7 meeting Zoning Director Rothe updated the board on member terms and scheduling. Pat Wendling is term-limited and staff are accepting applications for that seat; Tessa Wendling and Steven Drzymalla were noted as possible reappointment candidates. Rothe asked any board member who intends to seek reappointment to contact staff (Karen) by Jan. 31, 2025.
Rothe also said the floodplain regulations item will be placed on a future agenda after staff receive additional clarifying information. The meeting was held in hybrid format because of road conditions, and staff recorded 23 members of the public present in person.
