Airport manager reports jump in jet fuel sales; county signs SLIB cistern certification and approves WBC drawdown

FBO Manager Nate Messenger told Commissioners the airport logged 204 recorded transactions in April. Fuel sales were reported as 825 gallons of Avgas and 3,108.15 gallons of Jet fuel, which the manager said was almost double the same time last year.
Messenger described a required update to the credit card processor following a supplier merger (City Service Valcon merged with Coleman Oil) and said the simplest option chosen will cost about $300 and raise the monthly service fee from $16 to $30. He also reported equipment and maintenance items for the field: new blades for the Alamo 15‑ft bat wing mower, a rented man lift to fix parking lot lights and replacement of an LED unit, and research into hanger‑keeper insurance and aircraft tug options for a new county hangar.
Separately under other business the Board approved a SLIB MRG25044 certification statement related to an Airport Hangar Cistern grant and approved Wyoming Business Council Drawdown Request No. 6 (engineering) totaling $7,559.70 ($6,426.00 reimbursed by WBC; county share $1,133.70).
