Ardurra gives GIS quarterly update; commissioners defer contract commitment until budget finalized

Brian Clarkson and Maddie Ross of Ardurra Group, Inc. gave the county its quarterly GIS update and reviewed a proposed 2026–27 scope of work. The firm reported continued automated parcel updates to the ArcGIS Online parcels layer (updated every Monday), renewal of an ArcGIS Online mobile worker license, and the addition of Eagleview services (2015, 2020, 2023, 2025) to the organizational base map so County applications can use the aerial imagery.
Ardurra said it has drafted a scope for the upcoming fiscal year but did not include a contract pending the Commissioners’ review of budget numbers. Commissioner Aguiar stated he was “not willing to commit to a scope of work until the budget numbers are out,” and Commissioner Galovich emphasized the county is required by statute to operate with a budget and said he wanted to prioritize county employees. Ardurra noted it will continue automated parcel updates and support Road & Bridge and Planner GIS applications as approved.
No contract was executed at the meeting; Ardurra will await direction once budget decisions are made.
