Administrator Loper briefed the Commissioners on personnel actions in the sheriff’s office. The reassignment of Dennis Lowe from Deputy to Detective was approved effective March 23 with a wage rate of $37.93 (15-year rate). The transfer of Bode Gray from Corrections to Patrol was authorized effective March 1 with a wage rate of $30.62 (entry rate). The Commissioners also authorized opening a full-time Corrections position and accepted the resignation of part-time Corrections Officer Andrew Dameron effective Feb. 11.
The Commissioners approved submission of a grant application for body-worn cameras. The meeting minutes state that, unless otherwise noted, votes taken by the Commissioners were unanimous.
