Doniphan County approves motor grader service, rejects culvert bid and prepares bridge repairs

Road Office Manager Lindsay Norris reported the County received 2026 bridge inspection results from Schwab Eaton, PA and will compile repair recommendations and map locations for the Board's review.
The Board approved the low service estimate from Foley Equipment—$3,512.94—to perform 4,000-hour maintenance on a 2020 John Deere motor grader (unit #200) and approved an invoice from Murphy Tractor for $1,744.94 for 500-hour service on grader #202. The Board also rejected the single bid of $29,250 from Engemann Drainage Co., Inc. for a 200' x 24" crossroad culvert replacement on Randolph Road and directed a change to project scope and re-bid at a later date.
