BOCC signs WCDA demolition letter for Arapahoe Street property; agreement expected in April

Contract grant administrator Connie Guntly told the commissioners the Wyoming Community Development Authority requested a letter outlining the environmental report and demolition recommendations for the Arapahoe Street property. Guntly said she prepared the letter, WCDA reviewed and approved the draft, and she moved that the county sign the letter to satisfy one of the final tasks for the related grant.
Commissioner Tom Ryan moved to sign the letter and Commissioner Paul Galovich seconded; the motion carried. Guntly told the board she is hopeful an agreement will be in place in April to proceed with demolition and grant activities.
