Hannah Fullmer, Goshen County grant writer, told the commissioners the county had been awarded $2,714,387 by the Industrial Siting Commission and described plans to direct most of that funding to local fire districts. "The County was granted $2,714,387.00," Fullmer said during her monthly report.
Fullmer also presented two resolutions to apply for Wyoming Community Gas grants: Resolution 2026-01 for the county library and Resolution 2026-02 for the fairgrounds. The board adopted both resolutions after motions by Commissioner Justin Burkart; the record shows the motions were seconded and passed. County commissioners and staff, including Fire Warden Thom Bozeman and County Attorney Eric Boyer, were thanked for their role preparing impact fund requests.
