Board denies request to allow process-water wells for industrial concrete batching

Board members raised several objections during discussion: fairness to other businesses, the risk that large commercial wells could draw down groundwater and affect neighboring wells, and uncertainty in the available hydrogeologic data. One supervisor said, "I can't support this personally," citing groundwater and system-financial concerns. After debate the board moved to deny the resolution and approved the motion by roll call.
