Staff flags septic, frontage issues for Kite Road resubdivision; state health review requested

Town staff notified the Zoning Board of Appeals about a new Kite Road application that proposes a further resubdivision of the Matisse subdivision, splitting two lots into five. Ron Brand and Paula Rufflin said some resulting lots do not have the required frontage and that the New York State Department of Health has asked for more detailed septic information before the town can proceed further.
Paula Rufflin noted the project notification review letter had been sent to involved agencies including the Ontario County Department of Public Works, the New York State Department of Health, the Town Zoning Board of Appeals, and the highway superintendent, but staff acknowledged the distribution had not reached all listed recipients and promised to re-send materials. Staff cautioned that the town should avoid creating lots that later require additional variances or leave buyers with unexpected constraints.
