The CAD team told the Radio Communications Committee that it has contacted 24 of 38 agencies to review agency box alarms and response assignments, and most of those meetings were conducted in person. The team said department chiefs will exercise final approval over the programming before it is entered into CAD; once approved, that programming will eliminate the need for initial two-tier dispatching for the affected agency.
The minutes record that nine agencies have already been programmed. When programming is complete for an agency, the files are uploaded to the county website and consolidated into a single PDF at https://www.rensco.com/307/Box-Alarm-Assignments, the report said.
