Committee appointments confirmed; Lacivita named chair of county radio committee

The Rensselaer County Radio Communications Committee met March 11, 2026 at the Emergency Services Training Center and reviewed recent appointments following legislative action. The Legislature passed a resolution on February 10 appointing committee members to four-year terms ending December 31, 2029. By unanimous consent among those participating in the March 11 meeting, Mark Lacivita, D. Jordan and William Stewart were approved to serve as Chairman, Co-Chairman and Secretary, respectively.
Chair Mark Lacivita referred members to two documents distributed with the meeting notice that provide a history of the committee’s formation and summarize members’ duties and responsibilities. The committee scheduled its next meeting for 19:00 on May 20 at ESTC.
