County OKs new auto and agricultural repair shop at Webb Road with conditions

Applicant Trevor Bergen described the new shop as enabling service on larger equipment that his current location cannot accommodate.
Staff reported two phone contacts about the application: one in favor, and an adjoining property owner opposed on grounds that increased traffic would cause road damage and dust. Richland Township Trustee Leland Entz said he "would not be opposed to lowering the Road Impact Fee to $2,000.00." Staff recommended conditions that the applicant obtain necessary permits, dispose of oils and batteries at hazardous-waste facilities, screen dumpsters from view, and coordinate with the township to ensure Webb Road conditions are not degraded by business traffic. The board approved the permit with those recommendations.
