Doniphan County sets bid timeline for Randolph Road culvert and schedules countywide chip sealing

Road Office Manager Lindsay Norris presented a project letter seeking bids to replace a 200' x 24" crossroad culvert on Randolph Road (south of 1373 Randolph Road, Section 12, Township 3, Range 21E). The commission approved the bid project letter and set a submission deadline of 5:00 P.M. June 5, 2026, with bid opening/letting scheduled for June 8, 2026 at 9:00 A.M.
Norris also told the board that Vance Brothers plans to begin chip sealing Doniphan County roads on June 22, 2026. The commission asked Norris to have Vance Brothers inspect roads completed in 2025 to confirm materials adhered properly to those roadways before new work begins.
