Floyd County opens bridge-inspection RFP packets from eight firms

At the Feb. 18 Floyd County commissioners meeting the board opened RFP packets for bridge inspection and inventory and recorded the list of submitting firms.
The firms recorded in the meeting minutes were DLZ Engineering, Clark Dietz, American Structurepoint, Kapur and Associates, United Consulting, USI Consultants, Egis, and H&B Engineers. Jason Sharp moved to take the packets under advisement; Frank Loop seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
County staff indicated the submissions will be reviewed before a selection is made; the board did not vote to award a contract at the meeting.
