Floyd County recognizes 26 Jeep Club volunteers after snow transports during January storm

Barrow reported that volunteers completed 215 transports and traveled 2,103 miles in support of hospital staff movement; 26 volunteers participated in the effort. Barrow named attending volunteers and credited county emergency coordination for integrating the team into response operations.
Commissioners publicly thanked the volunteers on behalf of Floyd County. Barrow also named incident-management roles supporting the operation, including an operations chief, logistics lead and planning section chief who coordinated volunteer tasks and call-taking during the event.
