At its Feb. 19, 2026 session, the Bennington County Regional Commission noted commissioners John LaVecchia, Dixie Zens, Gordon Black and David McAneny were present along with BCRC staff William Colvin, Callie Fishburn, Samantha Page and Dara Zink. The meeting was called to order at 5:01 p.m. and adjourned at 5:09 p.m.
The only substantive agenda item recorded in the minutes was a public hearing on the Landgrove Town Plan. Commissioner Dixie Zens moved to open the hearing and Commissioner Gordon Black seconded. Director William Colvin reported the town adopted the plan on Dec. 18, 2025 and had requested regional confirmation on Dec. 23, 2025. After staff indicated the plan met statutory requirements and answered questions about energy and land use, the hearing was closed on a motion by Commissioner David McAneny, seconded by Gordon Black. Colvin announced the planning process was confirmed with 16 votes total, including 11 votes from unique municipalities.
