The Select Board voted to appoint Jeff Green to the Energy Commission for a three-year term. Jeff introduced himself to the board, saying he moved from Florida about a year ago, has a decade of experience building compressed natural gas stations and some familiarity with solar projects, and that he is eager to volunteer for the town.
Chair Jack Deeboorn moved to approve the appointment and a board member seconded; the motion passed unanimously. Board members reminded Jeff to visit the town clerk to be sworn in and to complete necessary forms. "Thank you for having me tonight," Jeff said, describing his plans to help on energy savings and noting concerns about energy costs.
