At the April 15 meeting the Floyd County Board of Commissioners approved the following motions by unanimous vote: a Goelzer Group contract for pension analysis; a TLO agreement with wording change; OHM Professional Services Agreement ($38,000); Strand Highway 150 engineering ($393,443.50, county share $78,750); DLZ Indiana Baylor Wissman Road Reconstruction ($215,675, county share $54,194); HMB Bridge 38 ($450,240, county share $90,240); release of a performance bond for Spring of Old Georgetown subdivision ($158,075 performance bond; $71,475 maintenance bond referenced); FCO 2025-13 and FCO 2025-14; FCR 2025-07 (Solid Waste hiring moratorium); FCR 2025-08 (purchase of 3317 Grantline Road); Notice of Intent for an Onsite Wastewater District; and FCR 2025-09 appointing Scott Waters as hearing officer. Approvals were moved by Frank Loop or Jason Sharp and seconded by Jason Sharp or Frank Loop, with "motion passed unanimously" recorded for each.
Two items were tabled for later consideration: the United contract for the Road Impact Fee Study (motion to table by Jason Sharp) and the Blue River Services $20,000 5311 grant request (motion to table by Jason Sharp). The board set a May 6 follow-up meeting for the Blue River item and requested further scope and jurisdiction corrections for the road-impact contract.
