City staff asked the commission to approve several budget and procurement actions. The commission approved a $441,080 budget transfer and construction contract award for the Hidden Lakes Aqua Well 10 replacement and testing program. Commissioners also authorized procurement with All Terrain for repaving at the North Water Claim facility ($224,680.28).
Separately, the commission approved Resolution 34-96 amending the budget by $94,622 to procure two stadium-style security lights for Fort Mellon Park (Musco piggyback contract) and later approved Resolution 34.98 to accept a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) FY2026 grant. Staff described the park-lights procurement as using a piggyback contract (Sourcewell/Musco); commissioners discussed light directionality and dimming controls to limit off-site light pollution.
All items were moved, seconded and passed during the meeting.
