Residents raise concerns about code enforcement and city election paperwork; attorney says litigation concluded

During citizens’ participation several members of the public raised complaints about city operations. Chan Robinson (Sanford Pages Corporation) described two items: a film project in planning and a longer complaint alleging the city’s candidate forms were outdated and that litigation followed when he sought to qualify for mayor. Robinson asked whether video surveillance exists of the day he submitted paperwork.
City attorney said the litigation is concluded and that court orders speak for themselves; staff offered the public‑records process and said they would check whether any surveillance footage exists and respond to any public-records request. Commissioner comments included an apology for a constituent’s frustration while avoiding an assessment of legal claims.
