Park Board orders five wholesale candy bags for Easter Egg Hunt to meet 6,000-egg goal

The board calculated they needed enough candy to supply roughly 6,000 plastic eggs with at least two pieces per egg and determined five 30-pound bags would be sufficient.
Member Tory Macklin moved to purchase five bags of chocolate eggs; Member Betsy Ingram seconded and the motion passed (tally recorded as unanimous, 9-0). The board did not record a per-bag cost in the meeting minutes; staff will proceed with the purchase through a wholesaler and will report back with invoice details if requested.
