Oxford County Commissioners voted to approve a negotiated contract with the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) for deputies and CID staff during an executive session on April 2.
The contract "includes 5.5% wage increase the first year, 6.5% the second year, and 6% the third and final year," and "adds $1.00 to the hourly rate for steps 10 and 15," according to the meeting minutes. The action was taken after an executive session invoked under 1 M.R.S.A. § 405‑6(D).
