Page County adopts World Red Cross Day proclamation after chapter appeals for volunteers

"We could not do this without volunteers in each and every county," Fleming said, and the presenters encouraged residents to sign up for training and local activities.
Following the presentation, a supervisor moved and the board adopted a proclamation designating World Red Cross Day; the motion passed on a voice vote. Board members thanked the chapter and urged residents to consider donating blood and volunteering.
