Guadalupe County commissioners approved a quick claim deed on Aug. 13 that transfers a 0.323‑acre unused portion of New Youngsford Road (Moses Baker survey A‑4) in Precinct 1 to adjacent property owners.
Commissioner Seidenberger explained the segment had been abandoned years ago and that adjacent owners had requested the title cleanup to allow other uses of the land. Court staff said surveys and required public notices were completed and that county counsel had reviewed and approved the documentation.
Court discussion addressed the parcel division between adjacent owners (one owner agreed to concede part of the middle of the road to a neighbor who needed gate access). The court moved and approved the quick claim deed without opposition.
The county clerk will record the deed as provided by staff and the surveyor; no opposition or protests were reported on the record.
