The Deerfield Conservation Commission reviewed a complaint regarding activity at Greenfield Road (Map 103 Lot 7.1) and recorded the results of a June 20 site inspection by the Conservation Agent and a commissioner. Tim Eve-Cowles and Peter Law reported that a pine tree had been removed, equipment had reportedly been driven across a brook (an excavator was used to lift smaller equipment across the brook), and that erosion controls were not compliant due to gravel buildup. Commissioners also observed a cleared area storing concrete footings.
Eve-Cowles and Law met with the applicant on-site; the applicant is working to repair and extend erosion controls where necessary. The commission did not record a formal enforcement vote at the June 25 meeting but documented the follow-up steps and continued monitoring.
