Committee approves contractor‑yard conditional use for Davis with screening, stormwater conditions

County land use administrator Kevin Grama presented the Davis Brothers Excavating conditional use application, describing the site, hours of operation and equipment to be stored. "Davis Brothers Excavating is owned and operated by Dean Davis," Grama said while outlining exhibits and the draft decision document.
Grama told the committee the parcel is in the R‑1 district, that the applicant plans to plant white pine trees along 290th Street for screening, and that staff had drafted decision language with standard operation, lighting and screening conditions under §15.330. Committee members discussed driveway location, stormwater runoff and town driveway review. No members of the public spoke in opposition, and the committee approved the conditional use permit unanimously with the conditions discussed.
