Mohr described ongoing education classes (bystander CPR, BLS, Heart Saver) and announced a Mental Health Matters event on May 6 with free tacos and resource distribution; the department will print 1,000 updated community resource guides to connect residents with services.
The board accepted $3,022.98 from the Wyoming Department of Health for prevention or treatment of problematic gambling behavior; Prevention Specialist Jennifer Cheney will oversee spending and Kim Lindseth will track the funds. "The event will have free tacos and mental health resources available," Mohr said of the May 6 gathering.
