Ardurra representatives Dusty Spomer and Luke Provart told the Hot Springs County Board of Commissioners that cleanup at the old airport came in under the original estimate, producing a $11,664 deductive change order and total project savings of $23,056.50. Commissioner Tom Ryan moved for approval and the board carried the motion.
Spomer said final grading for the road is expected to be paid from Wyoming Business Council funds tied to the upcoming project. The board also approved several interlocking grant reimbursement and drawdown requests tied to the Black Mountain Road project during the "Other Business" portion of the agenda. "That is the plan," Spomer said when asked whether final grading would be funded from Business Council resources.
