Resident speakers urge support for police fundraiser and caution on removing fireworks restrictions

McGregor said he had seen communities abroad where fireworks were common and argued local residents should retain the ability to celebrate. His remarks reflected the broader resident sentiment referenced during the council’s fireworks discussion earlier in the meeting.
