Elsa Vigil, a county procurement/staff representative, summarized several recommended awards and contracts. On procurement for property tax and delinquent notice printing and mailing (RFP 2024‑0004), staff recommended Automated Election Services / DVA Inc. Impressions (AES) based on the review; the board approved the recommendation by roll call.
Vigil also presented a new multi‑year contract with Honeywell Building Solutions (TCC‑2024‑28) to provide inspections and maintenance of HVAC equipment, fire/smoke alarm inspections and testing, filter installation, and water treatment for county facilities. She said the contract is a three‑year agreement with a total not‑to‑exceed amount of roughly $194,994.54. The commission moved and approved the contract.
On forest management, staff requested approval to use a state price agreement and a contract with WoodSharks LLC for forest thinning at Red Cloud Ranch (approximately 70 acres) under an NFL grant; the motion and the accompanying contract passed by roll call.
