Osceola County board names Jerry Helmers chair, Jeff Loring vice‑chair for 2026

Mike Schulte moved to appoint Helmers, and LeRoy DeBoer seconded; the motion carried with all members voting in favor.
The board immediately followed with a motion by Jayson Vande Hoef, seconded by Helmers, to appoint Jeff Loring as vice‑chair for 2026; "All vote aye. Motion carried." The board recorded that Jeff Loring, Mike Schulte, Jayson Vande Hoef, LeRoy DeBoer and Jerry Helmers were present and that there were no absences.
