District requests contract‑compliant replacement of grease decant tank; Siemens seeks dryer project sign‑off

Jason Wheeler said the building #8 grease decant tank originally specified at 6,000 gallons was replaced with a 4,300‑gallon tank to accommodate replacement logistics. RCSD met with Siemens and CDM and requested that the tank be replaced with a 6,000‑gallon tank as required by contract terms.
RCSD also experienced screen tearing with a new vibratory screener because the unit was not properly balanced and weight distribution on the springs was uneven; replacement screens were ordered and the unit is now operating as intended. Separately, Siemens has requested that RCSD sign off on the dryer project and accept ownership.
