The board accepted staff’s recommendation to reject HBC’s protest, waive the irregularity, and award the contract to GC Builders. "The recommendation is to reject HBC's bid protest, waive the irregularity in GC Builders' bid, and award the playground improvement project to GC Builders," a facilities presenter told the board prior to the roll-call vote.
